Our data promise

Every performance number we publish carries a label that tells you exactly how we know it. This page defines those labels — and the rules we hold ourselves to.

What the labels mean

Four honest states

Verified
Traceable to a named, in-validity third-party test on this product and scope. The report number is on the register.
Provisional
A supplier figure, a published-literature value, or an extrapolation beyond the tested scope. Useful for early design, but we say plainly that it is not our own SA test.
Calculated
An in-house engineering calculation or FEM result — we state the method. Not a substitute for a test where a test is required.
Lapsed
A real test exists but its validity has expired. We show it, dated, rather than hide it — and we tell you the re-test plan.
The rules we hold ourselves to

How we handle our own data

Challenge a number. If you think a figure is wrong, or you need the underlying report for a submission, email info@technopol.co.za — we would rather correct it than defend it.

Technical resource

Who should we send this to?

We release technical documentation to named engineers and specifiers so we can support you properly on the project. One entry unlocks everything.

We will not share your details. POPIA compliant.
