We manufacture expanded polystyrene in Springs, and every performance figure we print is traceable to the report or the standard it came from — and we will send it to you. Where our product is the wrong answer, we say so, and we name the right one.

Technopol SA (Pty) Ltd is a privately held South African company at 9 Wright Road, Nuffield, Springs, Gauteng. We mould, cut, laminate and mill EPS ourselves, across three factories — which is why we can tell you exactly what is in the block.
1. Every number carries its source. Ask us for the report behind any figure on this
site and you will get it.
2. We give you the scope, not just the class. A fire classification belongs to a specific
tested build-up. We tell you which one — because a class without its scope is not
evidence, it is decoration.
3. We tell you where not to use it. Every product page and every datasheet has a
“where NOT to use this” section, and we mean it.

The fire-retardant EPS range. It changes how the material ignites and how flame spreads across it. It does not make EPS non-combustible, and we will not tell you it does.
